I have to thank Queerclick for pointing what has to be the best commercial I’ve seen for a long time…

Well, we’ve ordered our copies already, just in case you missed seeing this movie in theaters it’s being released on November 20th.

Not only did we order a copy for us, we also ordered a copy for my Mom in England and Deusex’s Mom is getting one for Christmas. We had my Mom visit us in Toronto earlier this year, and we took the opportunity to show her where parts of the movie were filmed - The “Hardy Har Hut” shown during the shoot at the corner of Eastern and Carlaw (Gale’s Snack Bar never looked so good!!!) Plus a few other locations around Town, it was so much fun.

Right across the street is the building that had the poster of the singing trio “The Dynamites” come to life on it, freshly painted white now - and kinda boring.

This version of the movie is based on the original 1988 movie by John Waters, but with the addition of all the music and lyrics from the Broadway show. Starring John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken and Nikki Blonsky as Tracy Turnblad it’s a must have for your DVD collection! Get it from Amazon by clicking the link below.

Let’s not forget the original movie starring Divine aka Harris Glenn Milstead, I guess i’m going to date myself now by telling you I had the opportunity to see Divine perform several times in London in the early/mid 80’s, twice at Heaven and twice at the London Hippodrome (now defunct). What can I say, Divine was one of the best live entertainers I’ve ever seen!

I was weened on electronic music in the early 80s and my taste in it evolved as house music stole the stage and I became a DJ in Toronto in the early days of the first afterhours parties and raves. Today, I’m done with DJing but I still manage to keep on top of the dance scene and still put out studio mixed CDs for myself and my friends.

I’ve just finished my Fall mix appropriately called “Falling” and I’m offering it to anyone who would like it. It runs 2 hours 30 minutes and it’s mostly uplifting progressive house and tech house with a few surprises thrown in. It’s completely beat mixed and takes you on a journey. I hope you enjoy it.

I’ve offered it up in two formats. You can either grab is as one continuous 2 hour mix if you want to burn it to DVD or just have it on your computer, or you can download it in two parts that fit perfectly on two CDs. They are large mp3 recorded at 320bits, so it’s pretty close to CD quality. This means they sound great, but the files are huge.

Glen Mitchell is a very handsome and drool worthy photographer in Miami who’s photographic works have been published and exhibited world wide. I stumbled upon his website and was completely blown away by his work. He creates sensual images of the human form, intimate portraits and provocative nudes, and it’s some of those nudes that I present here from one of his website’s galleries.

Just some random points that I found that made me even more interested in this photographer..

- one of his favorite movies is Moulin Rouge (my personal favorite too)
- He’s got Annie Lennox’s new song Dark Road playing on Glen’s MySpace page.
- He wants to meet Nicole Kidman and Anderson Cooper (me too!)
- He loves to photograph husky latin men (my weakness)

It took me a while to find LatinJocks, and when I did, I just figured they were a relatively new porn site, but when I joined I was happily shocked that they’ve been around for a long time. So long, that there’s over 400 incredibly sexy latin men now on their site offered in both duo and solos and also photos and videos. It took me literally hours to pick one of a multitude of candidates for my cutest latin guy ever hunt. I finally narrowed it down to a dozen or so, then just closed my eyes and randomly picked one - and Sandro was the winner. Although I think I’m the real winner. Just look at those sexy eyes, and his angelic face, gaze at his perfectly muscled body and then head further down and take in that stunning latin dick of his. Pretty perfect.

Well, it took a few days for me to catch up with my Friend R. in Belgium to find out about Radio Donna.

His update is

“Radio Donna is not a gay station, it’s a gay friendly radio station and probably the most popular radio station in Belgium. The music they are playing is primarily from the charts and on Friday and Saturday evenings a more clubby atmosphere.”

Apparently “it’s State owned, so they have lot’s of money to make their commercials crazy and funny”. The Station is also broadcast out of Flanders so is broadcast only in Dutch.

I do know we’re going to be checking out their broadcast on Friday and Saturday evenings.

I have a special fondness for this clip as I’m in it…… As Donnarama jumps off the stage at 2:27 into the clip, I’m the Guys she jumps on and makes feel her fake boobs. What an evening, we already have a table reserved for the whole run next Year! The clip also has a cameo appearance by the winner from the previous year Tulsi.
